The charming cottage was built in 1939, and its large fireplace adds to the rustic, relaxing feeling of the compact rooms, which are decorated in dark woods and white lace. The prix-fixe menu varies seasonally, but you can expect to find consistently well-prepared dishes like Maryland-style lump crab cakes with papaya-ginger cream sauce, and a distinctive rack of New Zealand lamb coated with honey, whole-grain mustard and hazelnuts. Friendly and professional service and classical music in the background make this place an appealing destination.
