THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES The Caucus Room Restaurant Review:

Billing itself as a nonpartisan restaurant---two of the principals are Democrat Tom Boggs and former RNC Chairman Haley Barbour---The Caucus Room proves yet again that Washington can accommodate another high-brow destination for the kind of folks whose faces turn up regularly on C-SPAN and the nightly news. It's reminiscent of an old-time Washington restaurant: dark woods and leather-covered banquettes provide a suitable backdrop for the kind of menu where even the simplest sandwich will set you back a fair amount of change. Portions are generous, though. Expect fine dining in a very Washington setting: if you like rubbing elbows with power brokers, this is a must restaurant.
