Cayton's Burger Bistro Restaurant Review:

Cayton’s Burger Bistro in The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain offers views of the championship golf course and the surrounding desert, as well as some of the biggest burgers around. The restaurant has a clubby feel without being too masculine. Burgers range from the elaborate, well-balanced breakfast burger to the simple Cayton’s burger. The first comprises two quarter-pound beef patties, a sausage patty, a fried egg, bacon relish, cheddar, mayo and sriracha sauce stuffed between a french toast brioche bun; the latter includes Gruyère, chilis, aïoli and the all-American toppings of lettuce, tomato and onions. Accompanied by one of the “additional” fixings (waffle-cut fried mushrooms; pepper jack mac ‘n’ cheese; onion-laced mashed potatoes), diners might prefer a nice nap rather than a round of golf post-dining. For a lighter meal, there are salads and sandwiches. The menu also features several steaks, ribs and seafood from the grill. Shakes come in child and adult versions. For dessert, we suggest Grandma’s Chocolate Fudge Cake. Cocktails are available, and Dove Mountain staff has assembled a notable wine program.
