Cebiche House presents a Peruvian menu loaded with classic dishes that span cebiche appetizers (think marinated shrimp or fish in lime juice) to the classic chupe de pescado (spicy fish chowder with fresh corn) to stewed beef in a cilantro sauce. For starters, don’t skip the typical papa a la huancaina (potatoes and hard-boiled egg in a cream cheese sauce), the house special papa rellena (mashed potatoes filled with ground meat) and the chicharrones de pollo (chunks of fried chicken with fried yucca). Put all of these together and you will yearn for the Peruvian-style flan with a side of alfajores, the traditional Peruvian shortbread cookie.
