About the restaurant & décor: This English import in trendy DUMBO is as stylish as the Mayfair original. The dining space characterized by exposed brick and stone, marble tables and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out towards the Hudson River is contemporary and upscale, while retro chic accents including brass tack studded leather back stools in bright blue hues and black and white mosaic tile floors add a laid-back Brooklyn vibe.

Likes: A warm and vibrant dining atmosphere conducive to conversation.
Dislikes: The shishito pepper appetizer lacked crispness and was slightly oily.

Food & Drinks: The Italian menu features pasta selections such as pillowy ricotta-filled ravioli tossed with eggplant, tomato and basil, and a hearty beef bolognese over tagliatelle. Wood-fired pizzas are available, too; try the earthy bresaola, burrata, wild mushroom and Parmigiano variety. The wood oven also turns out tender brick chicken with salsa verde, and delicate salmon with sun-dried tomato butter over fregola pasta. Desserts like a vegan chocolate cake served with coconut sorbet, and profiteroles and chocolate-hazelnut gelato drizzled with chocolate sauce will hit the sweet spot. The wine list is predominantly Italian; nevertheless, there are a number of old-world and new-world varietals on offer.
