THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cedars Mediterranean Cafe Restaurant Review:
At the clean, cozy and warmly lit Cedars, Flor and Nabil Dimassi offer the Middle Eastern buffet concept that they originated as founders of the original Dimassi's. The colorfully garnished and bountiful steam table offers such a wide array of healthful dishes that it makes choosing difficult. We are impressed with the interesting vegetarian dishes, the tender lamb shanks, and what has to be the best deal in town on a red snapper filet served in a tasty tahini sauce. Artfully presented meat kebabs and falafel are made to order. One bargain we recommend is the vegetarian sampler---and, by paying just a little bit extra, you can add one entrée to make it an even more substantial meal. Accompanying satisfying versions of hummus and tabbouleh are puffy, fresh-from-the-brick-oven pita.
