Smack dab in the middle of the downtown lunch rush---literally and figuratively---is Chacarero. Simplicity rules in the form of, well, Chilean sandwiches. Chicken and beef come barbecued or in the form of tips, topped with Muenster cheese, marinated green beans, hot sauce and rich avocado spread. Like any worthwhile between-the-buns venture, the secrets here are fresh ingredients and homemade bread, plus expert seasoning. If you get addicted, you can buy the rolls separately.
