Chapoquoit Grill Restaurant Review:
A bustling neighborhood bar and grill, the Chapoquoit offers a wide range of dishes to suit the whole family. The stars of the menu are the gourmet pizzas cooked in the wood-fired oven. We especially like the fig pizza, topped with prosciutto, ricotta and house-made fig jam. Pastas, heavily featured, include a wild mushroom ravioli and linguine with clam sauce. Be sure to check out the specials board for meat entrées and the day's fresh catch. Desserts are of the big, all-American variety, like chocolate cakes oozing with filling and generous sundaes. The restaurant is family-friendly and the staff does their best to accommodate special requests. The one inconvenience is that this popular spot does not take reservations; however, you can call on your way and ask to be put on the wait list.
