Chicken on the Run Restaurant Review:

Peruvian-style chicken roasted over hot flames characterizes the speedy food offered at this Bethesda restaurant. And, in fact, except for such sides as fried yuca, fried plantains, and rice and beans, it really constitutes the menu. Oh, and yes, there are two salad offerings, one topped with chopped chicken. What makes this place such a delightful anachronism in Bethesda's upscale dining row is its workmanlike ambience: loads of patrons cluster, grabbing one of the five or six seats, or they hang around out front munching on chicken and shooting the breeze. The chicken is hot, inexpensive and ready in a hurry. Add to it an order of the very dense bread pudding and you've got yourself a budget feast.
