Chill Out Cafe Restaurant Review

: Chill Out Café is the lone Thai restaurant in the burgeoning restaurant row uptown on Maple Street. Guests may grab a table on the outdoor porch during mild weather, or enjoy the intimate dining room. Although the place produces a mean pad thai, diners might opt for a strictly American breakfast at any hour. Still, the attraction is the Thai cuisine. Appetizers include the requisite fresh spring rolls, edamame, shrimp toast and calamari, but the crispy soft-shell crab served over asparagus excels. Entrées are moderately priced and appropriately spicy. The best among them is the panang curry dish, slowly simmered with bell peppers, lime leaves and your choice of meat or seafood. Don’t even think of leaving before you enjoy the cheesecake tempura, topped with syrup, ice cream and fruit. Chill Out Café does not serve alcohol, but you're welcome to bring your own without getting hit with a corkage fee.
