Chin Chin Restaurant Review:
This popular chain eatery is both urban chic and suburban tame, with its open kitchen behind a long counter and white cloth- and glass-topped tables. The menu is extensive, but we've had the best luck here grazing on the nouvelle dim sum specialties, like Szechuan dumplings in cilantro sauce, fluffy steamed bao filled with barbecued meat or vegetables, and deep-fried shrimp toast with orange dipping sauce. We find the Chinese chicken salad, which the company is particularly proud of, a bit overrated. Entrées like kung pao scallops or shrimp in black bean sauce can be prepared with little or no oil for the health-conscious.
