Chinese Dhaba Restaurant Review:

This small operation offers little in the way of refined circumstances, with its paper plates and plastic cutlery. But alongside them comes a lot of taste in a wide variety of unusual dishes. Our favorite is perhaps the crispy chilli shrimp, a half dozen or so plump fried shrimp in a thick, richly textured red bell pepper-based sauce. Customize the heat level to suit your palate. Vegetarians can check out the super-thin hakka noodles topped with sautéed onions; one may add shrimp, chicken or tofu to pump up the protein. For dessert, we like the shahi falooda comprising three scoops of a sort-of ice cream in a saffron-scented noodle cream. Grab a mango lassi or a mango soft drink for a quaff.
