THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Chu Restaurant Review:

A lavish, Far Eastern-inspired interior provokes gasps of awe before the first bite of food arrives. Stone statues and dramatic artworks accent the mood-lit rooms. Several of the menu items are unfamiliar---but at least the menu's written in English, not, as we feared, Sanskrit. Order a dozen dishes and share them with the table. It's a whirlwind culinary tour of Asia: six countries in one sitting, if you can handle it. Start with Chinese barbecued pork, mixed tempura, Thai-inspired green salad and stone-cooked Kobe beef. Continue your journey with noodles, yakitori, gourmet sushi hand rolls and something wok-fried. Or, if you prefer a real entrée, we recommend medallions of ginger-garlic filet steak, Peking duck with sesame-mandarin pancakes, or pork porterhouse in a fiery wasabi-chili glaze.
