It's not just Doubletree Hotel guests dining at Chutney Grill with its elegant English-library setting; many locals fill the tables, especially during the holiday brunches. At dinner, start with executive chef Thomas Mues' specialty of crab cakes served with toasted brioche, seasonal fruit salsa and field greens. Entrée highlights include grilled rosemary-marinated Fulton Valley breast of chicken sided with soft polenta and wild mushroom ragoût; a Gilroy burger which is slathered with a garlic spread; and roasted seafood mixed grill with prawns, sea scallops, lobster tail, grilled salmon and swordfish in garlic butter and served with roasted potatoes. After your meal, you may opt for a little jazz and after-dinner port in the bar area.
