Come for the curry and spice, but expect more. Chutneys Grille on the Hill combines Indian flavors with Western inspiration, as seen in tandoori chicken wings and Alaskan crab cakes in curry sauce. Menu favorites include lamb with roasted coriander, shallots and coconut milk, sautéed chicken with spinach curry, and shrimp with coconut, ginger and herbs. Vegetables feature braised cauliflower and potato curry, and flame-roasted eggplant purée. A selection of warm breads ranges from traditional plain naan to naan topped with garlic and basil or stuffed with nuts, raisins and cherries. A decent list of wines and beer is affordable and varied.
