This is a great place for kids, who are mesmerized by the toy train that chugs around overhead and the numerous miniature airplanes suspended from the ceiling. As with all Clyde's restaurants, the menu offers certain core items (chili and hamburgers, for sure), but menus change daily, and also feature seasonal favorites, from Maine lobsters in the fall, to Copper River salmon and fresh asparagus in the spring, to local farm-fresh produce come summer. Favorites include their crispy Thai spring rolls, stuffed with shredded cabbage and pork and the sausage and chard rigatoni, an ample pasta dish suited to a farmer's country meal. Few dishes though surpass the soft-shell crab sandwich or the blackberry pie, both available only in season. Other locations.
