It's so casual that management takes its decorating cues from early Americana by using red bandanas as napkins and setting out such nostalgia finds as a Pillsbury Doughboy statue. Fresh is the byword here, where biscuits and doughnuts come hot from the cook-fires. The down-home menu might include pancakes, meatloaf with mashed potatoes, reputedly dynamite hamburgers, and our favorite, three jumbo shrimp with cheese grits. If you hunger for mom's home cooking, then plan on one or many meals here, an especially welcome destination if your budget is feeling squeezed.
