THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cooker Bar & Grille Restaurant Review:
A very large menu filled with regional dishes is the main attraction at this essentially modern version of an early-1900s saloon. Try the freshly made potato cheese soup, but be forewarned: its filling. Actually, everything here is filling. Go for the pot roast (cooked, they say, for eight hours) with mushroom gravy or, if you want something lighter, try the charbroiled salmon. There are also plenty of salads and sandwiches, such as a California veggie burger (made out of corn, black beans, whole grains, nuts and Anaheim chilies) with lettuce and tomato and optional grilled onions, mushrooms and lowfat pepper jack cheese. Lots of desserts to choose from served by enthusiastic, but not obnoxious waitstaff.
