Coquina Beach Surf Club Restaurant Review:
If you want lip-smacking good shrimp and fish dinners for a fair price, most locals agree that this is the place to go. Owner Chris Way has long been serving up seafood favorites: crab cakes, soft-shell crabs, oysters, shrimp and fish. He also experiments with offbeat dishes, evolving a recipe until he gets it right before serving it as a daily special. No doubt about it, the food is enough to bring people back, but it doesn't hurt that Way is also the creator of Dat'l Do-it Hot Sauce, made from St. Augustine's famous datil peppers. Today, his sauce is sold nationwide in grocery stores and specialty shops.
