Warmer months bring The Corner Grill’s popular ivy-covered patio out of hibernation, jazz and blues bands play nearly every night, the bar opens and the outdoor rotisserie starts smokin’. As for the colder months, owner-chef James Joyce still keeps guests happy although in a less lively indoor atmosphere. Begin with the house favorite appetizer of New York-style chicken wings served with homemade blue cheese dressing and celery sticks. Joyce’s signature entrées include the blackened tilapia, a South American whitefish, in a Creole-like crawfish cream sauce, rosemary and smoked chicken penne pasta, and Cajun-spiced grilled shrimp.
