Coya Restaurant Review:

The brainchild of restaurateur Arjun Waney (of Roka and Zuma fame), trendy Coya has décor that takes in ethnic colors, carved wooden doors and chairs, chandeliers and moody lighting. It’s more like a decadent nightclub than a serious restaurant. There are three open kitchens: the Ceviche Bar, the charcoal grill and a central kitchen turn out a whole variety of flavors. Ceviches using sea bass, bream, tuna and the like come with spicy tastes; tiraditos and antichuchos (small dishes to share) range from salmon with quinoa to kingfish with truffle oil; and consider marinated, charcoal-grilled meat, fish and vegetables skewers, and also pork ribs and duck breast. You can start, spend or end your evening at the pisco bar sampling some of the 40 tequilas and rums, either neat or in cocktails that will certainly get you in the mood. Or chill out in the lounge area and snack on the menu. It all swings along at a great pace. Dress up, not down. Set lunch menu 3 courses £29.50; 4 courses £33.50, tasting menu £80.
