THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Crazy Cuban Restaurant Review:
Cuban music, photos and other cultural memorabilia set the stage here. For lunch try the traditional pressed and toasted sandwiches or the black bean soup and salads. The always-available appetizers draw from traditional dishes, such as empanadas and tamales. The place shines at dinner, when starters include delicious codfish fritters and stuffed potato puffs. A huge piece of breaded steak done in the traditional Cuban manner (empanizado) and the braised chicken with vegetables are flavorful. House-made sangria is excellent, and Cuban coffee is the perfect foil for the dense, creamy homemade flan. The rich tres leches cake is a specialty.
