THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Crazy Fish Fresh Grill Restaurant Review:

Loud, busy, dark and garishly decorated, Crazy Fish is still rocking, even after six years. It's not quite fashionable---that period lasted about 6 months---but it never lost its clientele, mostly the young and restless who love the wood oven and the seafood-centered menu with forays into bison meatloaf and Midwestern pork. The oven is used for a lot of vegetables, onions roasted and blended into salad dressings, garlic presented as part of an appetizer platter. It's a strong mashed potato house, with orange mashers that make you think they're yams, but no, it's guajillo chiles giving that color. We wish they'd use the oven to give us alternative to the dreaded seasonal vegetable medley but overall, it's a worthwhile spot. Sunday brunch is a lot quieter and more family-friendly, and more lunch than breakfast, but white chocolate and blueberry pancakes deserve attention. Kudos to the breakfast potatoes.
