THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Crosby Restaurant Review

: Tucked in the northwest corner of Santa Ana’s increasingly fashionable downtown district, The Crosby captures the area’s hipster-fueled ambience. Sparsely decorated gray walls, dim lighting and Prohibition-era tunes give the space a near-speakeasy quality, furthered by the long, well-stocked bar where the cool kids gather for a rotating selection of handcrafted cocktails. Contemporary dishes run the gamut from kicked-up basics like smoked Wagyu beef burgers and swordfish ceviche to outside-the-box fare such as curried goat. The kitchen’s adventurous streak emerges every Wednesday when the special “World on the Streets” menu explores the culinary tendencies of a specific global region. Desserts also have a unique flair, seen in the smoky, salty take on the classic apple turnover. Tapping into the bustling surroundings, the place stays open for late-night grub and nightcaps Thursday through Saturday.
