THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cucina! Presto! Restaurant Review:

Fast Italian is the motto, but the setting strives to evoke a more leisurely café atmosphere, outfitted with dark wooden tables, ceramic tiles, wood-burning ovens and display kitchens where you can watch pizza dough being pressed and pasta being tossed. The food quality is generally on par with the bigger Cucina! Cucina! restaurants, but choices are limited to pasta, pizza, sandwiches, soups and salads; family-style meals, designed to serve from three to five persons, come with salad and bread. Combo meals are another bargain. Kids are welcome to mix and match their favorite noodle with their choice of four sauces. We can usually find something to satisfy us: penne with roasted chicken and broccoli in a cream sauce edged with goat cheese; a wood-fired pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza; or Cucina’s signature chopped salad. We even admit a fondness for pizzini, variously filled rolled sandwiches made with thinly-pressed pizza dough, though we have never been able to warm up to the tasteless breadsticks. You may order a glass of wine, but the list is perfunctory. We can’t vouch for the tiramisu, but we’d take a brownie over the cookies any day.
