From its lofty perch above the Boston Common, the Curious Liquids coffeehouse has a view to be envied. This multi-room, multi-floor destination for joe, sandwiches, and sweets is everything one could want in a coffeehouse. Painted in a sunny shade of yellow, the upstairs room is an adorable glass box boasting raised seating and those killer sightlines. Downstairs are two comfy dens where couches, nooks, crannies, and reading are the order of the day. Board games, books, papers, and magazines are all there for the taking. And, if hunger strikes, so is a make-your-own assortment of sandwich breads (brioche, bagels, sourdough), meats (turkey, maple ham, tuna salad), and toppings (tomatoes, spinach, alfalfa sprouts).
