Downtown, across the street from Macy's, this outpost offers Indian standards---as well as the food of Southern India. Diners can sample a good version of tikka masala and moist tandoori meats and fish, but look farther to find dishes like kefteh, a tasty---uh, we were going to say meatball, but it's meat-free---preparation made with paneer. Other vegetarian options abound as well. Order at the counter and stay as the room is light and pleasant. (There are a few tables outside, too.)
