THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED d.vino Italian Food & Wine Bar Restaurant Review

: Upon entering this upscale-casual restaurant, there's an area that shouts classic Italian, with red-and-white-checkered tablecloths, a wood-fired pizza oven and an authentic salami and formaggio bar stocked with 25 different varieties of cheese. The back dining room has a vibrant energy enhanced by an open kitchen, a hardwood walkway and rustic red brick walls. For an appetizer, try the Italian fritters --- bacon and cauliflower breaded balls with ricotta, goat and Parmesan cheeses, served with lemon aïoli. Nearly a dozen types of pasta are offered, including gnocchi with veal and pork Bolognese and wild mushrooms. Be sure to sample the lobster ravioli with ricotta and Parmesan filling, shallots and white wine cream sauce. Main courses include pan-seared Scottish salmon with roasted peppers, roasted corn, arugula and white wine-lemon butter sauce, and lamb sirloin with crispy gnocchi and Italian herbs. A nice finish to your meal is the honey-buttermilk panna cotta with spiced red wine and dried cherry marmalade. An expansive wine menu lists more than 500 options, and an Enomatic wine dispensing system allows for samples of 18 different selections.
