David Burke Prime Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

David Burke Prime Steakhouse in the Foxwoods Resort Casino's Grand Pequot Tower offers contemporary fare like the pretzel-crusted crab cake with poppy seed citrus glaze and lobster bisque with green apple essence. But the focus is squarely on steak. Try the 16-ounce "Bronx" filet mignon or 18-ounce "Kentucky" rib-eye. The latter state is the source for all of the top-tier meat served here. Steaks are dry-aged in a pink Himalayan rock salt-tiled aging room on the premises, just as in the original David Burke's Primehouse in Chicago. For those looking to go beyond the basics, sauces and sides are available to complement any cut. Lobster Nights, a popular Monday offering, feature a three-course, lobster-dominated prix-fixe menu. Thousands of bottles of premium wine from around the world are available. Start your meal with a classic cocktail served at the 28-seat bar. If Prime aged steak and top-shelf libations aren't enough, the signature "drunken donuts" laced with chocolate Kahlúa, strawberry rum and cinnamon crème or the famous "can o' cake" --- a molten chocolate cake baked to order in a take-home tin --- are desserts that make for an ideal ending.
