The Providence outpost of the popular Boston restaurant, Davio’s relies on the same formula for success: Accessible Italian food with well-placed twists. The crowd is fashionable, the mood fun and subtly romantic. Appetizers include a pretty fan of seared duck breast with warm fig compote and pomegranate glace, fried calamari with a jalapeño aïoli, and several grilled pizzas.
