Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Chicago, IL

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House Restaurant Review

: Although this massive shrine to Prime beef hails from Texas, it doesn’t stop Chicagoans from settling in for excess within the rehabbed Esquire Theater building. And while this is unquestionably another steakhouse in a city full of steakhouses, it’s a popular one. That’s in no small part because of its quality wet-aged steaks. Stick with them (the charred, 24-ounce porterhouse in particular), along with oysters on the half shell, and you’ll leave satisfied. Linger over bottles from its cellar, which is 1,500 selections strong, and finish with moist lemon cake or the signature Del’s Delight, an indulgent ice cream concoction with crème de cacao and Nocello.
