About the restaurant: Modern taqueria Descanso originated in Costa Mesa and has since brought its unique "plancha" dining experience to Los Angeles.

Food & Drinks: The planchas are cast iron grilling slabs where chefs prepare the tortillas, proteins, and other items in front of the guests. Each plancha encounter starts off with a soup or salad course featuring items like fideo, a toasted noodle and tomato broth soup. Main courses continue with carne asada, halibut and vegetarian options.
