Din Tai Fung
Soup dumplings and Shanghai-style delicacies at Seattle’s University Village.
Din Tai Fung Restaurant Review:
University Village's outdoor shopping center is home to the Seattle outlet of this Taiwanese dumpling chain. The interior has sleek, modern finishes. The appealing menu features plump steamed dumplings with assorted fillings ranging from pork and shrimp to vegetable, chicken, fish or combinations with authentic flavors. Choose from hot-and-sour soup, a variety of sautéed seasonal vegetables, fried noodle dishes, wontons, fried rice and more. Desserts are a touch exotic with taro, red bean or sesame paste filled buns. A full bar offers creative cocktails, Chinese beer, wine and several sakés. Service is efficient.
