THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED This classic small-town restaurant features down-home fare in heaping portions thanks to owners Dennis and Alan Zdolshek. Pancakes---and other breakfast delights---are a main attraction, but locals crowd into the place at lunch and dinner, too. Soups are made in-house daily; ditto the chili, which is some of the best around. Pair a bowl of either with a hot sandwich like the ground chopped sirloin or marinated chicken, both of which come with sides of crisp home fries. For dinner, best bets are the roast pork, stuffed peppers, and liver and onions. All entrées are served with potatoes, vegetable or creamy coleslaw and warm rolls. If you’re feeling the need for something sweet, try one of the homemade desserts.
