THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Dis & Dem Restaurant Review:

To say Dis & Dem is off the beaten path is an understatement. Located in what was once a typical mid-city house in a residential area, this place has become a casual neighborhood watering hole and low-priced burger joint. You'll know you're there when you see the bright yellow structure with a red banister leading to a long, narrow interior with a bar that takes up almost a full wall. Sit at one of the few tables inside, outside in front, or on the colorful covered patio in the back. There are a half dozen burger options, and another half dozen slider selections, as well as huge orders of fries with your choice of cheese or chili. This is a comfortable place where the daily specials rock. Try Friday's "John Wayne" burger, stuffed with hot cheese, topped with a fried egg, hot patty and bacon. Wines are predictably limited, but save room for the oversize chocolate fudge brownie with Neapolitan ice cream.
