DJ's Bistro Restaurant Review:

Located in a strip mall near two busy boulevards in Concord, DJ's is not a chain, not ersatz Italian or Mexican. It's a down-home German-Czech restaurant where you can get a fairly priced, tasty meal. Sauerbraten, Wienerschnitzel, spätzle and head cheese hold down the authentically European end of things. Anything fried, such as the chicken or veal cutlets --- and even deep-fried cheese --- is well executed. Light sauces nap the meats, while the accompanying red cabbage is tangy. Other favorites are the goulash or the roast pork. If you opt for soup or salad, note that the goulash soup is quite filling.
