THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Dolphin Depot Restaurant Review:
What’s more romantic than a vintage gas station? Maybe nothing if you’re headed to Dolphin Depot. What was once merely a fill ’em up stop has become a place to linger over antiques and tasty low country cuisine. House-baked bread sets the stage for the meal to come. The menu changes daily, with plenty of blackboard specials, and seafood options run the gamut but the salty-sweet she-crab soup is a perennial favorite. Shrimp and grits will give you that true Southern eating experience as will the courteous staff. The lobster tail takes the casual food up a notch as does a surf ‘n’ turf entrée when offered. Seating is limited so make your reservations in advance.
