Don Pepe Restaurant Review:
What is probably London's oldest Spanish restaurant and first tapas bar hasn’t moved with the times but is none the worse for that old-fashioned feel. The restaurant's cooking can be variable, but always reliable is the simple front bar, offering more than 40 tapas including steamed clams, kidneys cooked in sherry, octopus salad, fabada (a Spanish cassoulet), and Serrano ham, not the classic, expensive black-foot, but nonetheless succulent. Drink sherry, Galician wine or Rioja.
