On The Avenue in White Marsh is yet another of Donna’s ubiquitous cafés. That means eastsiders no longer have to leave the neighborhood to get a fix of this homegrown chain’s snazzy Mediterranean fare. That means roasted vegetable and provolone sandwiches on sturdy olive bread, individual pizzas with citified toppings, and dinner entrées like walnut-encrusted chicken breasts with Gorgonzola cream or Sicilian penne with sausage and eggplant sparked by a fiery tomato sauce.
