: Tucked along the Balboa Peninsula boardwalk is this rustic take on the classic deli concept. Executive chef Chris Rubinstein and his crew execute a menu featuring traditional East Coast deli fare like pastrami sandwiches and knishes plus artisan bites such as chicken tarragon salad and fig preserves-topped burgers. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes, too, including a quinoa kale burger and a vegan-friendly buffalo sauce-tossed cauliflower sandwich. The deli also has breakfast items and a list of craft beers and "fancy" sodas. |
