An outpost of a successful eight-restaurant local chain, the Ellicott City Double T landed as if from outer space. Suddenly one day it was just there, all gleaming chrome and high-voltage neon. Inside you'll find a menu as massive as the portions, ranging from breakfast all day to chicken salad on toast, to hot roast beef platters laden with gravy to a full roster of Greek items like spanakopita and lamb kebabs. And don’t forget the pie --- who doesn’t like diner pie? Seniors and kids have special menus, and there are options for vegetarians and dieters. Everything is served up with simplicity by friendly, hardworking waitresses.
