Downtown Johnny Brown’s is one of the first craft beer places in San Diego that's a very local “after-work drinks” bar. The casual, friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to meet like-minded fans of all types of sports, which are shown on strategically placed TV screens. Chummy groups gather to eat burgers while watching the latest Chargers or Padres games. Salads are enormous, soups are homemade and the selection of beer on tap is vast. Chili, wings and chicken tacos fill out the menu. Happy hour is energetic, and beers fans will appreciate the constant rotation of local craft beers.
