![]() : Executive chef Rob Evans’ don’t-miss dish is the hand-cut potatoes double-fried in duck fat served with a choice of eight different dipping sauces. Panini are some of the best sandwiches in Portland, featuring a variety of more unusual in-house smoked meats (duck confit, meatloaf, bacon and turkey). Roasted pork bellies with pickled red bell peppers, manchego and a saffron-tabasco mayo are another hit. Try the charcuterie plate with duck rillette and pork pâté, too. Top it off with a house-made milkshake and donuts created in, you guessed it, duck fat. Best of all is the menu of wine and beer (locally brewed and artisanal craft). (Photo by Katie Selva). |
