Don't expect a lot of frilly drinks. Even a light roast carries a signature smoky bite; a cup of decaf can keep us up all night; a shot of espresso has us howling at the moon. Other coffeehouses might have more decorating flair, others more corporate polish, but Dunn Brothers has been a local favorite for years. Why? Because once you're hooked on its coffee, other blends seem simply wimpy by comparison. Many locations feature a light dessert menu, including a dense, buttery crumb cake and plenty of fresh scones. Some locations---like this one next to the historic Milwaukee Road Depot---have acoustic entertainment in the evenings, plus free WiFi access.
