When a coffeehouse puts its roaster front and center, you know that when it comes to beans they mean business. At Dunn Brothers business means dark, acidic roasts that aren't for the faint of heart. Even a light roast carries their signature smoky bite; a cup of decaf can keep us up all night; a shot of espresso has us howling at the moon. We wouldn't have it any other way. Other coffeehouses might have more decorating flair, others more corporate polish, but Dunn Brothers has been a local favorite for years because once you're hooked on their coffee, other blends seem wimpy by comparison. Many locations feature a light dessert menu, including a dense buttery crumb cake and plenty of fresh, crumbly scones, but don't expect a lot of frilly drinks. People come don't come to Dunn Brothers to order coffee that tastes like a Snickers bar. In the evenings, be prepared for light, acoustic entertainment at some locations.
