THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Eclectic Grill Restaurant Review:

Eclectic Grille may be located on Federal Hill, Providence’s Little Italy, but it hardly limits itself to the cooking of one country. Diners flock to this spacious room, complete with an open kitchen, for food that is user-friendly in its broad embrace of American, French and Italian basics. The lengthy menu covers just about every base imaginable. Roma tomatoes and mozzarella with olive oil and basil is a spot-on staple---if only the ingredients were fresher. Jumbalaya pizza is an Italo-Cajun confluence that works in spite of the odd cheddar/parmesan cheese combo. Fried ravioli are a Chinese tangent, stuffed with chicken and snow peas, served with a soy-balsamic reduction. Among the entrées are baked pastas, paella, duck breast with Stoli raspberry sauce. We wish the kitchen would narrow their focus a bit and aim for more quality and less quantity.
