Eden Garden Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

Eden Garden Bar & Grill, sister restaurant of Eden Garden Café in Glendora, sports a largely Middle Eastern menu with a variety of mezze (small plate appetizers) to start. These include a particularly velvety hummus, shankleesh (aged Lebanese cheese with herbs, tomatoes, onions and olive oil), sambousek (homemade dough stuffed with ground beef and onions), and marinated and seasoned quails. For entrées, guests tuck into lamb shank with roasted vegetables, a 14-ounce Prime rib-eye, and chicken, ground beef or lamb kebabs. The landmark ivy-covered brick building --- it once served as a funeral home --- is dressed up with rich wood accents, linen-clad tables and murals, while a prominent fireplace, multiple fountains and a retractable cover have been added to its signature patio, which is the most desirable place to dine. Thick Turkish coffee is available after the meal, to pair with a dense bread pudding.
