The second location of Elvia's Cantina, brings some real Latin sizzle to downtown. The same salsa rhythms that have been drawing diners and dancers to the original Fondren outpost for many years now spices up the new street level location in the historic landmark Esperson Building. Margaritas and respectable Tex-Mex are what's to be expected dining wise. Bonuses to the good nachos, enchiladas and fajitas include the jubilant atmosphere and being able to dance the night away. Thursday through Saturday, local Latin music favorites like Mango Punch and Mi Rumba lead the way with salsa and merengue beats.
