THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Emporio Rulli Gran Caffe Restaurant Review:

The Larkspur pasticceria has found a home in San Francisco's Marina district with this caffè and Italian restaurant. The spacious front room is lined on one side with an eye level-high cookie case offering dozens upon dozens of traditional Italian cookies. A tile-backed wood bar and espresso counter line another wall where Italian syrups are poured over ice with seltzer or into steaming espresso drinks. The remaining two walls open up onto the sidewalk with huge French doors bringing in light, breezes and the hum of Chestnut Street. A back room with two tables offers a bit of seclusion from everything but the helpful staff. The menu offers breakfast pastries, sandwiches, soups and salads. Sorbetti and gelati are a great way to finish off a leisurely afternoon lunch or evening walk.
