Epistrophy Restaurant Review:

Wide windows and sidewalk seating lend a romantic feel to this airy NoLIta Italian-flavored eatery. Seating options range from low couches to tables for two to a picnic table for large groups. There’s also lots of seating at the bar, where the cocktail and wine list is extensive. Wine comes by the glass, carafe or bottle---even the house red and white are above average. Appetizers include mini veal and beef meatballs cooked in white wine; burrata, cherry tomatoes and basil with Sardinian flatbread; and vegetable, cheese, fruit or meat platters. For a main course, try the fluffy gnocchi with wild mushrooms or the meaty and filling lasagna. Service is friendly and though the dining room can get bustling, diners are never rushed---in fact, lingering is not just tolerated, but encouraged.
